Zoe: "I Love My Rachel and David"

Rachel's cute hairstyle for Zoe; love her side bangs with the pebbles pony:)
Aren't my tulips GORGEOUS!?!!
They have brought me so much joy the last week or so they have been blooming.
Can't wait for Spring and then yea! The lazy days of SUMMER!

So precious to hear Zoe say, "I love my Rachel and David"

This little ball of energy loves to jump on the trampoline!

Zoe's Julia Makeover

Julia had fun playing makeup with Zoe. She has pink glossy lips, mascara!, and cheer glitter (which was Zoe's favorite). A cute pink bow and tiny ponytail in the back completed her makeover by Julia.

Zoe Loves Smoothies

Zoe showing me she was all done with her smoothie and asking for more.
Coconut water, frozen pineapple, kale and frozen triple berries.
I was kind of shocked she liked it so much because it had a bunch of kale in it but she drank it down and asked for more!

I a Nerd

Zoe thought she was pretty funny yesterday when she put these glasses on and pronounced,
 "I a Nerd!"

Smell-ips

Zoe came over today after a weeks vacation with her Mommy because Cami had the week off. We went out side to look at the tulips blooming. Zoe was so cute as she told me how pretty they were and kept trying to smell them. She said, "I like your smell-ips!"

Fizzy Foam Science Activites 1 & 2

Yesterday we learned that baking soda (a base) and citric acid (an acid) makes a gas called carbon dioxide when mixed together.  It's a chemical reaction! The fizz we observed was made up of lots of tiny carbon dioxide bubbles.
Step 1 today was dissolving the baking soda in water. We used the base of baking soda to test different liquids to see if they were acidic.
Vinegar made a fizzing reaction which told us that yes, it was an acid.
Squeezed half of a lemon into the cup, then added 1 tablespoon baking soda.  Super fizzy!
Super big YES; lemon juice is acidic.
Observing the bubbles as he stirred with the stir stick.
Apple-berry juice showed no fizzing when added to the baking soda so we inferred it was not acidic.
Lemon juice was so fun they decide try that again to observe the big chemical reaction.
Loved those happy interested faces today:)

First Tulip to Blossom and Wrestle Mania

Rachel discovers our first Tulip to blossom.
J

Jared coaching David and Rachel as they wrestle.

Love that static electricity hair on Rachel.

Sarah Maughan

After Chloe Gidley's blessing our family went to Stacey and Trisha's house for dinner.
Kevin and Trevor were excellent salad makers.

Rachel was in baby girl heaven holding cousin Sarah
We just about died of cuteness from these pink ruffled, mary-jane socks!!
Julia got to give her a bottle while David kept asking when he was going to get his turn to hold her.
Auntie Lisa finally got a Sarah turn,
Sheldon tried to hold David like a baby but David wasn't having it.

David finally got a turn then said, "I can't believe they let me hold her!"
