Zoe Wednesday Visit 10/27
Rachel and I took Zoe into her room to change her diaper and right away Zoe started "talking" to Rachel. She is the cutest-cooey-est baby girl-so adorable! Rachel could hardly stop giggling as Zoe talked and talked to her.

October 2010 Saturday Night Dance
Trying to get pictures of Jared heading off to the church dance...all of my other pictures turned out blurry so I could just post this video. Korie Ward took the kids and Sheldon picked them up. Jared had a great time.
Erinn and Julia were sitting over on the brown couch with sad faces watching us take pictures..."We wish we were 14!"

Rachel's Fresh Herb Turkey Spaghetti Sauce
Saturday, October 16th, Daddy taught Rachel how to chop up the fresh oregano she picked from the garden. Fresh herb turkey spaghetti sauce is one of Rachel's favorite foods. We used fresh oregano, rosemary, sage and basil from our garden and only had to use thyme and bay leaves from the store.
David helped too by picking the rosemary leaves off the stem.

Wednesday, October 6th, Visit with Zoe
Zoe loved looking at and studying the black/white designs Cami printed out for her. In the video below she is studying them, kicking her little legs in excitement and breathing hard and making all of those adorable excited baby noises.
Waking up slowly as we try to play with her...that chubby tummy of hers is just so CUTE!
The advantages of homeschooling; Julia getting a few things done while we wait for Zoe to wake up.
Auntie Julia rubbing her niece's soft baby arm.

David Dancing in his Carseat
On the way to tumbling and Kindergym on Oct 5th, a Michael Jackson song came on the radio and David started "dancing" in his carseat...one of the cutest parts of this video is Rachel giggling so much.

Wednesday, September 15th & 22nd Visit with Zoe
Wednesday, September 15th, Our visit with Zoe...
Our Wednesday visit with Zoe on September 22. She was 5 weeks and two days old. When we arrived Cami was trying to get things done with Zoe in the Baby Bjorn. Cami let us play with her and she was able to get a few things done. Brandon came home from work and he showed us how much she likes her Dr. Seuss crib bedding...see video below.
Cami gave her a bath after she had spit up a few times...Zoe cried a little at first but then thoroughly enjoyed bathtime.
She smelled good and had fluffy little chick hair when Brandon came home.
Zoe was "talking" to her Daddy, feet kicking in excitement as she made her little baby sounds.
Brandon placed her in the crib where she studied the little Cat in the Hats but then turned her head to the other side of her bed to study the big Cat in the Hat...her little legs would kick a mile a minute and then she would stop moving and really study some more and then start breathing really fast in excitement and "talk" some more to her "friend" the Cat.

Rachel's Baptism
Rachel was baptized on September 11th, 2010 by her Daddy. Her Aunt Sabrina gave the talk on the Holy Ghost and Grandpa Maughan gave the closing prayer. Her friend Emma Mavy was baptized at the same time so Emma's Grandpa gave the talk on baptism and Emma's family members gave the opening prayer and took care of the music.
The camera battery got left behind so no pictures at the church:(

My Little Cowboy
David had a great time this past weekend going up to a ranch with his Grammy and Uncle David's family, (my younger brother). This picture is of my niece Brittany leading David around on a horse. The cowboy hat his Nonnie got David when Jared and Ron went for a visit to Virgina City definitely came in handy for this trip.

Last Pool Party of 2010
I am seriously behind on this blog but between being preoccupied with my first grandchild and then planning and then starting four levels of homeschool; K, 3rd, 7th and 8th grade, have given me Zero time or energy for my poor neglected blog. These pictures are of my last pool party with friends:( Summer seemed so short this year with not getting warm until late and then the nights cooling off so early which has left my pool with freezing water so not much swimming in the months of Sept or Oct even though we have had some warm weather during the day. Anyway, these pictures were from August 25th.

Sheldon is at a Farmers Insurance convention for the next few days in Reno...of all the pictures he could've sent me he seemed to think the crazy carpet and uncordinated chairs in one of his classes was what I would want to see.
Rachel was crying at dinner tonight because all of a sudden she realized her Daddy would not be home to give her "tuck tucks" good night. I will especially miss Sheldon tomorrow morning when I have to take Jared to seminary at 6am and then go back and pick him up at 7:15am.

Zoe 2 Weeks
Cami, Brandon and Zoe came over Friday, September 3, for a barbeque dinner. Zoe was only 2 weeks old and incredibly adorable. It was hard waiting for my turn to get a chance to hold her!
