Justin Beaver

Rachel:  "I hate Justin Bieber"

David:  "I don't, I like Justin BeaVer!"

Daddy gets home from his Ulink meeting and gets hello hugs from all of his babies.
Julia's inventive hairstyle for Rachel's tumbling class.
 Silly goofy David and Rachel.

Yucky Kisses

Julia: I don't want your YUCKY KISSES!
David: "But you smell so pretty!"

David was finally able to get his kisses even though they are a little slobbery...

So Sweet:)

Teenagers Know Everything:)

So funny when your teenager tries to correct something you say...
Mom:  "I have a history of longevity in my family.  Nana lived to be 94 and Nonnie is 81 and still going strong.
Julia:  (In a condescending tone)  "Mom, it's not longevity, it's LONG-LIVE-ITY"
I haven't stopped laughing for the last ten minutes!

March Swimming

My poor little blog is so far behind...these pictures were taken back in March.  The water was freezing of course but my crazy kids were out there in the pool the first sunny day that came around.

Competition Cheer 2/26

Julia has taken tumbling and now tumbling/cheer for a little over a year now. She has been having fun being part of the competition cheer squad the last few months.

Grandpa Harry Takes the Kiddos to a Movie

My Dad came over today and took all the kids to a movie. It is amazingly quiet. My homeschoolers heart is having an argument with my head that it could be so almost everyday, at least for a little while...

My heart always wins that I would miss all these gorgeous smiles
if they were gone from me most of the day.

Sweet things my baby boy has said or done in the last few weeks:
While counting... one-teen (11) or tooty-two (22) alway makes him break out in giggles when I point out his funny mistake.
His happy sigh when we get to the end of "Are You My Mother?" when the baby bird finds his Mother at the end of the story.

Piano/Voice Recital 2010

Julia and Rachel arrived early to practice their
songs and to warm up their voices...

Rachel and Julia with their teacher Kristen Kroes.
David sat quietly through most of the hour long recital with the promise that there would be cookies at the end. As soon as we stood up he was asking, "Can we get cookies now?!"
Rachel was allergic to all the cookies but was happy to drink pink punch.

Rachel singing/playing "Lavender's Blue" (I only got the
last third of it, then singing "In The Leafy Treetops".

Rachel playing "All Together/Alouette Medley"
and then "Ode to Joy" Love her little curtsie at
the end!

Julia singing/playing Red River Valley

Julia playing "Young Prince and Princess From Scheherazade"
